Lake Placid's Olympic Center, headquarters for the 1932 and 1980 Olympic Winter Games, are NOT located where this box indicates. The Olympic Center is to the south, on Main Street.

While this is the speed skating oval it resides in front of my alma mater - Lake Placid Central School. Class of 1974.
