    The dredged harbor in the upper left side of the crescent-shaped beach is the US Coast Guard harbor. The buildings on its' SW side are the Coast Guard buildings

    Sonoma County bus #29 runs out to here from Santa Rosa on Summer weekends only. If you are on the bus you do not have to pay to get in. Then catch a later bus home. Be sure to tell your driver your plans and times to leave so word can be passed to later drivers who will look for you. Otherwise you might just have to walk home.
