A relatively remote neighbourhood of mainly higher class residential houses in the northeastern end of Kaunas, which belongs to Šilainiai eldership. A specialized hospital for patients diagnosed with tuberculosis is on the southeastern edge of the neighbourhood. A sparse bus service along route 24 is the only means of getting to the neighbourhood by public transportation, and the locals mostly use their own cars to get around the city.
