  I visited the lake in December,2011 and May 2012. In December there was enough of water and I could find plenty of large birds like pelicans and grey herons in addition to other common aquatic birds. In May the lake has almost dried up and there was a small water body in which I could find large number of spot-billed ducks, coots, herons. black-headed ibises and on the dried up lake bed the cows were seen grazing and a group of beautiful black ibises with red caps.
