A hospital operated by the Seventh-day Adventist church. It is considered as a mother friendly hospital. Its obstretrics and gynaecology department is considered very good. The doctors are very friendly and the services are affordable as well. Now expanded into a medical college in collaboration with University of Kathmandu and Vanderbilt University.

  • I thought it is "Scheer Memorial Hospital"
  • Correct, Shekhar Chand - it is Scheer - named after the family which donated much of the funds for its construction, and who pioneered the hospital. Someone who can might edit the name in the Nepali version - I suspect it may be "Shree" rather than "Scheer". The Hindi translation of the nepali version calls it "Crown Memorial Hospital". I just transferred the Nepali version from a second and duplicate tag which I have marked for deletion.
