Hallton, PA

Formerly the site of a wood chemical factory, the village now consists mainly of vacation/hunting camps. Once served by the Tionesta Valley narrow gauge railroad, the and the Standard Gauge Clarion River Railroad. The former brought wood to the chemical factory, the latter hauled tank cars of wood alcohol and acetic acid from the factory to a connection at Carman at the mouth of Toby Creek.
