The Library of Congress, Thomas Jefferson Building--the "main" building.

The original Library of Congress building, opened in 1897. Under the center dome is the Main Reading Room. The Jefferson Building also contains the Coolidge Auditorium, and the Whittall Pavilion, housing the Library's collection of Stradivari (and other makers) instruments.
