Was the location of the Warden Power Centre shopping mall (pictured) but has, since the time this image was taken been demolished. A housing development is currently being built on the site. Originally called Warden Woods Mall. Original anchors Simpsons and Dominion. Simpsons was rebranded as The Bay and then left in the mid 90's and was replaced by Winners, Michaels and Sports Authority. Dominion left in the mid-80's and was replaced by Hy&Zels.

  • Don't forget the old 8-screen movie theatre (which closed along with several other Cineplex Odeon locations in 2001)! I remember Hy & Zel's in their later years to charge $1 for a shopping cart rather than the usual 25¢.
