The cemetery at Neuburxdorf contains ordinary civilian graves. During WWII, it was also used to bury war dead from nearby Stalag IV-B (Mühlberg). Most of those graves have been removed.

In 2004, the graves of 44 Polish and a dozen or two Serbian POWs in the former Italian cemetery connected with Stalag IV-B/Z (Zeithain) near Jacobsthal, a few miles south of here, were located. The remains were transfered here that same year.
