Inside are the Star Spangled Banner that inspired Francis Scott Key - with 15 stars and 15 stripes, the First Ladies Inaugural Ball Gowns, and Judy Garland's Ruby Slippers from "The Wizard of Oz. The building itself is now called the Behring Center - in honor of the California real estate developer who gave $100,000,000 to the Smithsonian. The architect was the Office of McKim, Mead & White. Reopened in 2009
