The Long Beach Airport Terminal, constructed in 1941, and designed in the Streamline Moderne style by W. Horace Austin and Kenneth Wing, Sr., both important Long Beach architects, is a City of Long Beach Landmark.

The terminal is home for Alaska Airlines, Delta Airlines, JetBlue Airways, and US Airways. LGB flies approximately 250,000 people per month from Long Beach, CA, to destinations all over the country, with an average of 35 flights a day. The main terminal is easy to use and offers curbside check-in, two boarding lounges, and three baggage claim areas.

  • Unlike the rat mazes that are most airports, I love flying in and out of Long Beach. I don't ever have to run to get to my gate, it's cozy, and I can smoke while waiting for my bags since both smoking areas and baggage claims are outside. Ace!
