Former Site of Willard (1900-1958)

The town of Willard was located at this site from 1900 till 1958, when Dulles International Airport (IAD) was built. The road leading up to it (from the south) is the only remaining road, Willard Rd (Now Stonecroft Blvd). Sterling Rd (Horsepen Rd) ran east-west through Willard, and is only visible in a tiny portion, 0.5 miles to the west, (north of Runway 12/30).
