Built as a Food Lion distribution center in 1991 until the chain pulled out of Texas in 1997, it was bought by Randall's (then-parent company of Tom Thumb) in 1999 to take the Dallas distribution in-house. At about the same time, Safeway purchased Randalls but it continued to supply the Dallas Tom Thumb stores in the Texas division. Today this operates as the DC for the Southern Division of Albertsons, supplying the Albertsons in the South Division, Tom Thumb, Randalls, and the Dallas-area Market Street stores.

  • It *looks* like after Albertsons phases out AWG, this will supply the Southern division of Albertsons and Tom Thumb.
  • This used to b a great place to deliver...but some moron gave the order to screw trucks around..keep it up you'll b like food Lion..GONE !!!
