Fairmount Cemetery was founded in 1890 and designed by landscape architect Reinhard Schuetze. Its 280 acres includes three buildings designated as historic landmarks and the graves of many notable citizens of Denver and Colorado.

  • This cemetary has the Ivy Chapel, a cute little gothic chapel that could use a new carpet. It has a pipe organ and at least one piano, but I didn't get a chance to play either one. I know it sounds a little morbid to admit this, but the birding is great at this cemetary.
