Our center offers a unique place to train with the ultimate goal being to refine one’s body, mind, and spirit. In the context of the classical warrior, the goal was not to fight, but to train to improve one’s character and to live life to the fullest. Hence, the fight is really within, looking inside oneself and overcoming individual weakness.

This type of intense training is referred to as shugyo, and the purpose is to continually refine one’s character by following a do or way.

Our mission is to provide the community with a place where people can come to find that path.

We offer classes in Aikido, Judo, Tai Chi, Yoshukai Karate, Iaido, Pilates, Yoga, Aerobics, Shodo (Japanese Calligraphy), Sado (Tea ceremony) and Asian languages.
