  An amazing place to spend four years studying. I had an awesome time working on my BA in English. The professors were absolutely passionate about their subjects. I truly believe that what makes this college so special is that it's not a university that offers Masters degrees or Ph.D.s. In other words it's professors aren't preoccupied with research and are instead allowed to teach their classes rather than having a TA do it for them. In large universities a professor's possible tenureship relies on whether or not they are published and actively participating in research. At FLC the professors merely have to be good at what they do, and many are.
