CAROLL is the junction of the CSX Baltimore Terminal Subdivision to the Mt. Clare Branch to the west and the South Baltimore Industrial Track to the east as well as the MARC lead track to Camden Station.
This is the location of the only complete B&O CPL signal with all 8 circular lamps and 6 orbitals. The signal was upgraded in 2007 when the 3rd track between here and WEST BALTIMORE interlocking was turned into a controlled siding.
