Located 25 miles north of Seattle in the city of Everett, WA, US Naval Station Everett is the US Navy's most modern port facility, having been commissioned in 1994. Designed as a homeport for a US Navy Battle Group the station is capable of accomodating the ships, crew and support staff of one Nimitz Class SuperCarrier, Two Arliegh Burke Class Guided Missile Destroyers and up to three Oliver Hazard Perry Class Frigates. The station's grounds also host US Coast Guard Station Everett, with its assigned crew, cutters and patrol craft.
