Former location of Art Metropole which specializes in contemporary art in multiple format: artists books, multiples, video, audio, electronic media, and so on. It offered artists' products for sale on our premises and through this web site. It also published, promoted, exhibited and distributed artists' products in various formats. Art Metropole was founded in 1974 by the artists' group General Idea. Art Metropole is a not-for-profit corporation incorporated under the laws of the province of Ontario. It is now located at 1490 Dundas Street.
