Anloga (Angloga or Awunaga) is the capital town of the Anloga District in the Volta Region in southeast Ghana, West Africa. It lies east of the Volta River and just south of the Keta Lagoon.
Anloga is home to the Anlo Ewe people who migrated there in the later part of the seventeenth century.[4] They formed the Anlo Kingdom with Anloga as the capital. From the European perspective Anloga was a part of the Dutch "area of influence" of Keta beginning about 1784, until taken over by the British in the 1860s, and folded into the British Gold Coast colony, which subsequently became Ghana.
