This area was broadly in the centre of what we all knew of as 'WATERSIDE' during the 1950s & '60s - when, especially in the 1950s, it became the main outlet for kids of all ages to explore 'our world' after moving to Bryants avenue, Glebelands and Elm Tree Avenue.
