The Brazos Valley Masonic Library & Museum is home to a large collection of Masonic books and artifacts relating to the history of Freemasonry. The building is used by several Masonic organizations including Sul Ross Masonic Lodge No. 1300 (chartered in 1947), St. Alban's Masonic Lodge No. 1455 (chartered in 1992), and the Steve Cooke Scottish Rite Assn (chartered in 1952). It is open to the public during weekday afternoons according to a schedule that is posted on the front doors of the building.
