The last remnant of the old trolley line from downtown Ottawa

Not much more than a platform with a roof on posts, this is all that remains of the old trolley line that used to run from Ottawa to Britannia Beach at the beginning of the 20th Century. It was the Ottawa Gas and Electric company that extended the trolley line to, and created an amusement park at Britannia beach to encourage users of the trolley system to use the system on weekends.
