This is a "black water" lake located inside the Sacha Lodge grounds. Although the water is pure, the lake itself appears black in color due to the mineral deposits at the bottom of the lake. You can enjoy swimming with the piranhas (yes! They are scavengers and they don't bite live humans), cayman (they are afraid of humans and stay away from us), and other creatures.
