Randall Park Mall (Demolished)

Opened in 1976 with much fanfare as the world's largest mall. Started to decline due crime & poverty. JCPenney closed in 2001. Dillard's closed in 2003. Macy's closed in 2008. Sears closed in 2009. O Theater closed in 2008 and the Malls interior was closed off. The mall was torn down in 2015. LaSalle Furniture closed in 2016.

Starting in 2018 Amazon will begin construction on a 855,000 square foot fulfillment center on the former site of the Mall
