This Koneru, Kalyanamandapam, Guest House and Sivalayam temple are donated to the village of Gopavaram by the family of Patnam Sanjanna, Edamadaka Gurappa, Lakshmaiah and Ramaiah family. It was built in the year 1934. Koneru provides year round supply of drinking water for the village. The water is drawn from the nearby K.C.Canal. The complex is built with high quality stone masonry and lined with clay. It is an excellent sight seeing must for the people in the area. The temple priest is K.S. Chandraiah and his son K.S. Virupaksham.
