Germany / Berlin / Berlin / Johannisstraße, 20
 office building, business park

The Johannishof was built in 1910 as a cigarette factory. After World War II, the authorities of East Berlin converted the building into the Hotel Johannishof, a "Guest House" for visitors to the GDR capital. As the first of the buildings on the so-called "Tacheles Site" on the Oranienburger Strasse, the "Johannishof" was converted from 1999 to 2001 into an office building specially for the media sector, on the basis of designs prepared by FEA.
