Hammersmith Bridge is a suspension bridge that was opened, in its current incarnation, in 1887. Since its opening, the structure’s use has changed dramatically with the bridge carrying modern motor vehicles until April 2019. It is a grade II* listed building.

The bridge is open to pedestrians, cyclists and river traffic, but closed to motor traffic.
