Department store built in 1938 as the Univermag. During the Battle of Stalingrad, the basement became the headquarters of German Field Marshal Paulus, where he eventually surrendered. The building was rebuilt after the war, but the street layout was completely changed, and the original building was "hidden" behind the modern structure - the original building, with its curved facade, can be seen only from the yard. In 2003, a museum was opened in the basement, recreating the German headquarters.
