The specialized sea oil-loading port Kozmino, situated on the shore of the Sea of Japan is the final point of the pipeline system ESPO. It is meant for transshipping the oil ESPO to the countries of the Asian and the Pacific Ocean region. The capacity of the port on the first stage of realization of the project ESPO is 15 million tons per year.
It includes:
- the railroad pass with oil pumping stations for unloading and transferring of the oil
- oil trunk pipeline “Trail to the oil depot”, overall length is 23 km, diameter is 1200 mm
- oil depot with reservoir park with nominal capacity of 500 thousand cubic metres with oil pumping stations
- shore and pier constructions with remote jetty for loading the tankers with displacement from 80 to 150 thousand tons
- repair and maintenance workshop, providing the technical maintenance and repair works
- the workshop for the technological transport and specialized machinery
- the security service
