Former site of the post-WWII Quonset hut village known as the Rodger Young Village. It was built to provide post-war housing to the soldiers returning from the war and their families. The RYV, as it was known, was built on the site of the Griffith Aerodrome, which was built in 1912 and demolished in 1939. No trace of either remains.
