The namesake of the band Soundgarden lives here. A installation called the soundgarden, consisting of a series of pipes mounted on wind vanes, that catch the wind and make spooky noise.
It used to be accessable through nearby Magnussen Park, but alas, the terrorists have won and the area is now closed, unless you enter, no more than 2 at a time, through NOAA. No celphones, cameras, etc... allowed.

  • Used to be part of the Sand Point Naval Base/Sand Point Naval Air Station. In fact I think some of the old Navy building/hangars are still in existence, and being used.
