Opened in 1969 as the Colonial Hilton Inn, renamed Sheraton Islander Inn in 1971, then Doubletree Islander Hotel in 1992, then Hyatt Regency Newport in 2000, then Gurney's Newport Resort & Marina in 2016, then Newport Harbor Island Resort in 2022. Closed 2023 for renovations, reopened 2024.
