  • It is a place of historical importance. Also known as Devi Chaudhurani's Cave. . An unbelievable network of tunnels starting near the City Center region right up to the Damodar river. Legend has it that unless you know the map of the tunnel system, it would nearly be impossible to navigate. Nowadays, it is a protected monument (the entrance of the cave). But you would be able to visit the place.
  • Agree with Pritam. Will only correct that little or nothing was ever done by the municipal authority to 'protect' this 'only place with historical importance' in Durgapur. In the name of protection, it is commercialised by the municipal corporation to earn revenue from rent. The stupid attempt of turning the place into a science park was always laughing stock of people (even kids). Bhabani Pathak Tila will never be the same again. All thanks to the dolt officials at Durgapur Municipal Corporation!
