Panchayat High School Guagoria

Panchayat High School, situated in the villege Guagoria, Estd in mid 1970s is pioneer in provding basic education to the nearby villeges like Praharajpur, Maguniapada, Beherasahi, Muntunia, Malipal etc. Prior to 1980's the unpreviledged boys and girls of these villeges used to be deprived of education beyond primary school stage. There was no high school in and around. Thanks to the initiatives and relentless effort of rural visioneries like late Bhagaban Chadra Ghose,Late Dibakar Dinda, Late Kalicharan Ghose, Sudhir Kumar Das, Mr Dutta and many others to establish an institution to fullfil the dream of thousand boys and girls to stand on thier feet. Initially the school started with contributions in diferent form from the founder members and other well wishers. The teachers initially worked without any salary(no govt grant either), inorder to keep the moral of the teachers up, for few months the villegers started taking out handsfull of rice from their everyday mill and offered the same to the school management, the sale proceed of the rice collected was paid as token salary to the teachers. Thanks to the teachers sacrifice, to mention a few, Mr Sushil Barick, Mr Kartick Chandra Das and Mr H Das. Seing the sacrifice of all involved, the Father of the Church( Hatigarh) granted a donation for construction of the building.

The school has by now successfully developed the career of few hundreds and will be developing how many thousand careers that the time will tell.

The School is realy a pathfinder to many. Thanks to the sacrifice of the great visioneries.
