An agricultural show run and organised by The Newbury & District Agricultural Society. This is a Registered Charity established with the aim of promoting agriculture, horticulture, forestry, rural crafts and skills and educating the public in these areas. The Society put on the first Newbury Show in September 1909 and has been staging this annual Show ever since with brief gaps during the wars. The Show has been held in various venues around Newbury and has developed into a two-day Show in 1976. The present venue had been purchased in 1984 and now it is run as a 2 days event.
