Site of the Spanish-era Customs House (Intendencia/Aduana), the American-era Senate, and the post-war Central Bank until it was gutted by a fire. There are plans to restore it for use as the National Archives but it never materialized. However, restoration works commenced in March 2021, after being proposed as far back as the 1990s. It will be the future home of the National Archives of the Philippines.
