This is a little secluded beach on the Central Coast of News South Wales located about an hour and 20 minutes north of Sydney and about 25 minutes south of Newcastle on the Pacific Highway. Entry is via Catherine Hill Bay and Moonee Beach.

At the southern end of the beach is one of the best walk through caves in eastern Australia. It is not always visible as the tide brings in large drifts of sand which fill the cave. Occasionally the tides can also strip the beach of sand and all that is left is a ancient petrified forest (this is unbelievable!).

Some photos of the cave and beach are here on my Panoramio site: www.panoramio.com/user/224812

Anyone who loves beaches, bush walking, surfing, fishing, swimming, snorkelling or SCUBA diving should try this place.
