This used to be place where daily labour after hard work, spend their hard earned money on Toddy. Toddy is liqour produce from Taddi tree, which looks like coconut tree. The water is tapped from this tree and as the sun takes it path through the sky from sunrise to sunset, the water turns more alcoholic and becomes toddy.
