St. Anthony's Church, Siolim.

The magnificent Church of St Anthony, built by the Franciscans in 1568. The Neo Gothic style church possesses two steeples on the frontispiece and a statue of St Anthony holding a serpent on a leash. Today, one misses the once predominant whiteness of the edifice, which has been painted with a slight yellowish colour, which, however, complements the fiery red of the Mayflowers which bloom in summer.
