Sir Daniel Hamilton's Bunglow (Gosaba)

Sir Daniel Hamilton -the pioneer of co-operative movement in India,started and made experiment of this movement here.He made this area usefull for human settlement and tried his best to make the settled villagers self sufficient.He established here the banking system and the famous GOSABA NOTE for business transaction .Rabindranath Tagore came here to gather experience for Santiniketan,Mahatma Gandhi sent his personal secretary Mahadev Desai here.
