Koti and Chennayya are twins born to Deye Baidethi.Owing to the brothers heroic deeds,they are worshipped as the protectors and are remembered at all times.They died while fightig with the enemies near Yenmoor.Memorials called Garady has been built in the name of Koti and Chennayya all over the Tulunau,ie, the present Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Dist.Once in a year festivals called Nema is celebrated in these Garadys and village people asseble here praying for the wellbeing of all.
