Village of Giazza

After the battle at Vercellae 101 BC.(www.wikimapia.org/#lat=45.322852&lon=8.41424&z=14&l=0&m... between Romans and Cimbri, survivors from the Cimbri, according to inhabitants in Giazza, settled in this area. The language is very unique, a sort of ancient Germanic-tongue, and has been under study by University of Milano.
