Built in 1864 and designated as an historical landmark, The 'Old' Don Jail was recently converted into a venue for special events. The last execution in Canada took place here on December 11, 1962. Starting in October 2009, the building will be renovated and will become part of Bridgepoint Health's new hospital and research facility.
