  • this is NOT!!! the Varadero International Airport (it is 10 km south west from here, easy to find in the map)
  • This airport was used by Cubana de Aviacion's Viscounts to Miami and Nassau. The newer airport was not built yet. I also understand that many of the Vuelos de La Libertad departed from here rather than from Rancho Boyeros Jose Marti.
