The Aerodromo Ascona (ICAO code: LSZD, IATA code: ACO, also Aerodromo di Ascona or aerodrome Ascona) was opened on 28 August 1947 as a private airfield and closed for flight operations at the end of 1997. The former operator, Aerodromo Ascona SA, was removed from the commercial register at the beginning of 2004.
