Nanga Island, Barangay Calibangbangan, Linapacan, Palawan
Fifty-five Hectar Island with coconut palm covered sand spit extending north
from a five hundred foot elevation ridge along the west edge, culminating in a rock promontory
along the west coast with bat cave and great reefs where the currents are strong
enough to inhibit cyanide use, a vurdent forest and long fine white sand beach along the
east side makes Nanga a paradise. A small fishing camp on the southern beach supports
one extended family, no other primates remaining or significant sign of wildlife habitation
remaining..
