that was one of the castles that belonged to the Radziwill family. The foundation dates back to 1506.
Five towers and a defensive masonry curtain surrounded the courtyard, forming a square of 75 meters on each side.
A palace within the defensive walls was built in the 17th century.
The castle was badly damaged during the war with Sweden in 1705 and during Napoleonic war in 1812.
The reconstruction of the castle started in the late 20th century. The rebuilt palace opened in 2010. It has an exclusive hotel accommodation designed in the medieval style.
