house, presidential palace
This is the Myohyang residence of the Kim Family. Construction supposedly began in 1981 and the home was complete in 1984. The main residence demonstrates DPRK President Kim il Sung's affection for Korean architecture, particularly the gabled roof. This residence is where President Kim passed away from a heart attack in July 1994.
