Beautiful Thing is a play written and first performed in 1993 by Jonathan Harvey. A screen adaptation of the play was released in 1996 by Channel 4 Films,[1] with a revised screenplay also by Harvey. Initially, the film was only intended for television broadcast but it was so well-received that it was released in cinemas. The atmosphere of the film is heavily influenced by a soundtrack comprising almost entirely of the work of Cass Elliot.

  • We arrived all the way from Israel just to see the filming location of one of our favorite movies. Unfortunately, it does no longer exist. Today it is just a huge construction site. Building has been demolished. Sorry for the bad news for all of you fans around the world.
  • Wow really??? I seen they were doing construction in the lot in front of this location - but they now tore down the original flats? That's so sad... I also noticed the Gloucester is no longer the same pub either ... it looks run down in Google Earth and definitely not as nice as it was back in the day.
  • Gosh thats awful! I wish I would have seen the building before it was demolished...... =( booo
